Position Public Relations

We are seeking to hire a public relations specialist who will be responsible for building and maintaining a positive image for our company. You will be in charge of establishing and maintaining relationships with consumer, community, employee, and public interest groups by writing press releases and other media communications, responding to requests for information and press conferences, and coaching client representatives in the correct way of communicating with the public and with clients.

To be successful in this role, you will need a deep understanding of the consumer's intent. You will also need excellent written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience in handling a press conference is also an advantage.

Public Relations Responsibilities:

  • You will respond to requests for information releases or press conferences from the media or designate a spokesperson or source of information.
  • Create and Maintain profile related to public facing prospects.
  • Able to Establish and maintain relationships with consumers, community, employees, and public interest groups.
  • You will Write press releases and other media communications to promote clients.
  • Will be planning or directing the development of programs to maintain favorable public and stockholder views of the organization's agenda and accomplishments.
  • Manage and Coach client representatives in effective communication with the public and employees.
  • Studying the organization's objectives, promotional policies, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote products, ideas, and services.
  • Prepare and edit organizational publications for internal and external audiences, including employee newsletters or stockholders' reports.
  • Able to Update and maintain Web content.
  • You Confer with managers to identify trends and group interests and provide advice on business decisions.
  • You will manage Social Media Optimization (SMO) for all our brands' assets.
  • Create engaging newsletters and ensure they are delivered to the right demographics.
  • Create and manage FundMe Accounts as needed with the appropriate content.
  • Create and edit all forms of media, including images, image animation, and videos.
  • Create mail releases for advertising and news updates.
  • You will respond to any message/feedback anywhere related to our brands.
  • Continually monitor email and direct email to the appropriate audience.
  • Assist with creating Marketing funnels for our brands.
  • Create Data Visualization for our content.
  • Research, conceptualize, and compose creative content that supports strategies and creative briefs.
  • You will use tools like Google Search Console to produce reports to help guide what is best for our end user.

Public Relations Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, PR, marketing, or a related field can be substituted for experience.
  • Experience handling a press conference.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to pitch to media.
  • Must be able to use image and video editing software.
  • Must be able to understand HTML/CSS.
  • Knowledge of consumer intent.
  • Ability to learn new systems and find new utility to utilize.
  • An ability to work on big strategic plans as well as day-to-day tasks.
  • Ability to think both creatively and strategically.
  • Ability to run PR campaigns that deliver measurable results and meet objectives.
  • Deadline-oriented and curious, with excellent follow-up and reporting skills.
  • Creativity in securing coverage and buzz with traditional outlets.
  • Understanding of social media and solid experience working with bloggers.
  • Project and budget management skills.
  • Responds well under pressure with a strict time limit.
  • Quick and enthusiastic learner.
