Public Relations in the form of SOCIAL MEDIA

This thread is the place to suggest posts for the team to put onto our social media accounts.  Producers need to be posting content at least once a week to allow the team to attract and grow a list of followers who will be interested in our game. Please feel free to provide content suggestions on a regular basis.  These can be specific (such as Facebook only) or for all social media accounts.

i've been rolling an idea around in my head for a you tube video. ill let you know when i can articulate it better and will be sure to post it on the YouTube video suggestion page. i wanted to think about things we could do RIGHT NOW if we wanted to so its taking a bit longer than i would have liked to formulate it adequately.

I've also heard that Facebook is horrible for marketing.  And I agree about the differences in length of posts.  I'm not suggesting that we only post on Facebook what is posted to Twitter.  But right now we're not posting ANYTHING ANYWHERE so I'm trying to see what can be done to jump-start this social media thing and get the TC name out there before Armament is ready.  (Hoping to have at least a few people waiting to play it.)  Once we have more content to post it'll likely be easier to put up different posts on each of the outlets.

One of the things ive noticed is that facebook is great for long bits of information.  However facebook itself is a terrrible form of marketing so i ve heard.  Dont have much to back that up but its something ive always heard from entruapuners.  

 

Twitter is great for giving out quick short updates.   Like hey our servers crashed were realeasing the team of monkeys now.   And you can make an update every hour.  Where facebook would be great for realeasing patch notes or whatever.  

 

I dont think theres anything wrong posting the same thing on both.  But i think twitter will be more of a tool for public relations than facebook so we should keep that in mind
