Objective

Our main focus on this sprint is to get everyone that needs to be in Unity up to speed with the game engine.  So most of the team will be working on that.  The only exception would be the writers which their scripts will be automated into xml file for unity without the need for the writers to be in the editor and also 2d artist will be left outside of the editor because most image will need to be controlled by programmers, 3d texturing, and design.

Unity reads the library folder to assemble assets when it loads to get the solution. The only way to open the project is via unity itself

Can someone send me the source code?
Also if it's OK with you, can we move the source code to bitbucket, it has free private repositories but has limited developers per repository, I think it's 5.

I think they have a desktop client as well: https://www.sourcetreeapp.com/download/ but I prefer using it through terminal.

Alright sounds good. I have a couple ideas for that as well it is going to take a lot of time though to get a working prototype. I think it will not be an issue though

Yes it's all deployment issues. And I didn't use xml being that the server itself is pretty static. There are host and ip variables though under the asynchronous log in class in the server program and then in the server is the string for connecting to the client. And then there is queryText at the top of the login function that needs the database name changed and then the fields for where you have username and password. I think that is it and the. I can adjust the client side as needed easily
I can put specific comments for what needs changed if need be

No that's all fine. Once it's transferred to a server it needs to be configured for that host and for that sql database.
And I can't configure it or anything for where it's going being that I don't have the info

@Anthony That sounds like a firewall issue... Windows firewall or 3rd party software from the sounds of it. I'm assuming you are on a LAN and not WAN.

Alright I have another issue I need to discuss with you before I leave. I have the login server done. It's done asynchronously and with sockets. The user connects and sends info and retrieves a code that tells it if it's ok to proceed. So my issue is this works with Microsoft sql server on my machine. It won't work as soon as it's run on any other machine.

I'm going to have to postpone my agenda this round. The email issue the ISP caused by changing their email server set me back two days from me work on it. I go out of town to Portland Oregon tomorrow and will not be back until next week so I will not have anymore time this sprint to complete it.

It's not super important. the most important is the standard assets. Unity has a download manager that you can import the other packages later if need be. Most of them are packages for final builds which for the most part you guys wont be doing.

I installed Unity 5 a while ago (2 weeks about) but I did not check all of the check boxes.

Welcome, everyone, to another sprint. As we push forward in our project, the challenges we conquer as a team, absolutely amaze me.  With that being said, lets get started :).
