Worked on designing an Abstract Asset class to hold XNA/Monogame assets as well as add properties and methods to help clean up AMS design.
Need to do a little more research on comparing what was custom and what was standard in the example content and harvest what we can. Also, want to make all of this reuseable in the future for anything else we do so trying to solidify design.
Researched articles on various thoughts on asset management and clarifying the difference between a storage and tracking system and a dynamic runtime environment focusing on memory management and speed.
Code review on XNA Asset management. Simple straight forward. Read through all art specification and directories seeing if we are keeping raw file formats or if we will be compressing assets in project specific formatting.
