@Unity
This thread is for a sprint that was completed in June.  Please join us on Slack chat:

Hiya Anthony. Currently we have two factions.  Faction 1's wiki has been completed and Faction 2's wiki is nearly finished.  It would be good for you to review the project Armament page as well as the wikis before doing any agendas.

Faction Two:

Hi I am Anthony I am a game writer I am looking for a faction and I am looking forward to your new projects because I want to write a game and earn ranks

@Chris
Our current sprint ends tomorrow at 1800.  We will begin another sprint in a week.  We will likely have character/contact agendas on the next sprint.  I will probably be adding agendas for Faction histories/stories as well.  Until then I'd say just focus on the University ideas you have started cooking in your mind.

@Tessa ok awesome, is there anything else I should work on or continue with the universities? As of now I have no agenda.

@Chris
The bonuses look good for now but we haven't begun work on the skill tree in earnest as of yet.  Keep in mind that flexibility will likely come into play as we concrete other details down the road in an effort to enhance gameplay.  That being said, those are pretty basic bonuses and we will likely use something similar to them if not those particular ones. As we get further in the development process we will get more specific with the kinds of bonuses but general is the perfect place to be right now.

@Tessa thanks! I know it's not much but I just wanted to know if I was going into the right direction. I will be adding more details to these universities and give the artists something so they can have an idea of what there symbols or crests would be. Do you agree with the bonuses is there anything you would change with what I have so far?

@ Chris
Well done!  This is a good place to start.  We will need to flesh out the universities and add more as we progress through game creation.  Also, we will be creating agendas for team artists to be creating the symbolic representations of the universities.....crests or some such....so think about if these universities have any traditions or particular beliefs, maybe some kind of competition, for which they are known.  Something that would add to their personality and give the artists a firm direction for the visual representation.

@Tessa ok awesome I got it. Thank you.

@Chris Let's keep it pretty low scale right now and say four. Each one should have some kind of reputation or special program we can use as the base for giving a bonus.....say communications and sociology for diplomacy bonus? That kind of thing.

@Tessa how many universities should I come up with?

@Tessa ok awesome. Thank you for the info.

@Chris
It may be helpful to know that there will initially be two factions in this game.  The perspectives have not been completed as of yet but one will be leaning toward the individualist ideology while the other leans toward a more collectivist tradition.  You may want to adapt a couple of your details to fit with one side or the other to make it more fun.

Will do!

@Lion3d Awesome when you are done please upload them.  They must be uploaded one by one as we dont allow for compression in the uploads

Thanks,
James Fleming

@James Fleming ok that's good to know thank you, I have all the objects now I will test them for scale

@Lion3d The gdd is not needed for your agenda all the information we have is listed in the context area of that agenda.

Thanks,
James Fleming

@Anthony
Thanks so much for letting us know.  I hope you trip goes well.

@James @Tessa Just a reminder, I'm on a business trip this week so that's why I have not taken an agenda, and will not be takin one as I have no time to contribute while out of town visiting the office

When I try to access the Wiki/ Game Design Doc I get this error:

Your account has limited access to this area of the site. If you need information from this page or you are looking for something please get a hold of a lead member or producer using the communication area located in the menu system.

@Team Alrighty let get this sprint kicked right with some good news.  We have broken into networking and have a working GUI with network support as of this evening.  I have been working on it since last week to get communication using both TCP and UDP.  So for this sprint I will be coding the object/byte array to send back and forth between the server and client as well as setting up more GUI screens.

Thanks,
James Fleming

Welcome, everyone, to another sprint. As we push forward in our project, the challenges we conquer as a team, absolutely amaze me.  With that being said, lets get started :).

Does anyone have any comments, questions, or concerns about the agenda they are assigned too?  If you need your agenda defined better or you're not sure where to start, please post on the kanban discussion any questions and we can start figuring it out as a team.

If this is the first time you have worked on a sprint with our team please have a look at this wiki page, as well as the game design document (GDD)  and then we have this video below to get you started.  If you have any question reviewing these resource please ask away.
